We welcome you to a real 'slow travel' experience. Slow travel means taking the time to get somewhere, to explore where you are, to really live in that holidaymoment in a 'special' place with character and personality.
Our boutique B&B brings together a modern take on traditional Provençal architecture with a warm, sober and minimal style. In a world of extravagant comfort, we try to honor instead rustic simplicity, growth and decay, modesty, intransigence, beauty of imperfection. We encourage our guests to return to the basics during a high quality holiday.
'Les Oliviers du Taulisson' is a unique Bed & Breakfast, situated in Provence. The building itself is an old traditional 'maison d'architecte'. All of our love has been put into restoring our house. The result is our stylish 'boutique' B&B with 3 different rooms, each with its own private terrace. The house and our swimmingppool are situated in the middle of our own oliveyard (50 olivetrees).
Two of the rooms are suitable for 1 or 2 people, and the other one is suitable for up to 4 people. In addition to the stunning garden, the large and beautiful outdoor swimming pool in blue mosaic, various terraces, sun beds and lounge chairs, there is a common area underneath the Wisteria. Everyone is sure to find their own favourite spot. There is an “honesty bar” where you can enjoy a refreshing drink.
Our Bed & Breakfast is situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux, away from the tourist crowds while still being conveniently close to everything. From the terraces you can enjoy the stunning views over the 'combes' hillsides of Mont Ventoux. This is known as the land of good air. The air is exceptionally pure and clean, as is the water. The area perfectly lends itself to a trip to Nyons, Vaison-la-Romaine, Carpentras, Gordes and Avignon or other famous vilages and cities, a bike ride or a walk, a lovely day at the riverside or near a lake, or a round of golf.
Because of our location, it is advisable to rent a car.
